Artists’ Alley is a new mixed use condominium development currently in pre-construction near university ave and dundas street west in Toronto, ontario by Lanterra Developments.
Lanterra Developments purchased the property on 234 Simcoe Street and plans to replace the existing office building with three mixed-use buildings. One of the proposed buildings will be 54 storeys in height and the other two proposed buildings will be 17 and 22 storeys in height. Total gross floor area is about 83,612 square metres. There will be ground floor retail use space in all of the three buildings and the building fronting on to Simcoe Street will also have four levels of commercial office use space. There’s also a residential building with “articulated garden terraces throughout”. The proposal will have a 12 metre wide pedestrian walkway at ground level that separates the buildings to “enable pedestrian flow through and between spaces”.
